Are YOU Smart About Smart Phones?

Take a look at consumers, more and more of them are walking in and “fiddling” with their phones. What are they doing? Well according to the research 52% of those new customers have used that phone to find your store, 48% of them are browsing products using their phone, 40% are comparing your prices with your competitors and 30% are telling their friends about their experience in your store. These customers are using the fastest developing marketing tool ever invented. At present, on average around 20% of your customers have one on them, but by the end of this year at least 50% of them will have a smart phone on them when they walk into your store. Imagine if you were a retailer who ignored this marketing tool. You would be in a situation where you would be aware that consumers were talking about you and using their phone to make decisions in your store, but you would be unaware of what they were saying and be unable to communicate with them in your own store and influence their buying decisions. If you were one of the smart retailers you would see the opportunity that this provides you. The customer is using a tool for communications about you and you could engage with them so the conversation was also with you. Smart phones are part of the future and a major marketing tool for your business. If you understood the possibilities you could start growing sales and promote information, products and prices, you could be part of the conversation and engage with the customer. Retailers need to engage using smart phones, but where do you start? To help you on the journey I have written a 101 guide to smart phone marketing techniques for retailing. This is an e-book as I need to update the book as the technology develops. This book offers you the solutions you have been looking for and starts you on the journey on how to use the smart phone in retailing.
