What will pop up next?

Over recent months I have been promoting the fact that “Pop Up” retailing is one of the major trends of the future. In the last month things seem to be popping up everywhere. I was in Ireland and went to a “Pop Up” park in Dublin. The community had build a park for three months over the summer period and on my visit day it was full of people. The next week I discovered a “Pop Up” forest in London sponsored by a major tree producer and this was in place for a weekend in the city. “Pop Up” Florists have come to my attention this month as well. Fremantle in Western Australia is taking over empty buildings in what they are calling “space activation” to develop “Pop Up” shopping precincts where local craft people are able to display their products. The city also helped develop a “Pop Up” street party recently to show of new community garden initiative. “Pop Up” has moved on from being focused on food retailer, all sorts of retailers and suppliers are looking at pop up potential to grow their business Are you “Popping Up” where your customers want you to?
